The City of Fort Collins is seeking candidates to fill the District 6 City Council vacancy following Emily Francis’ election as mayor. Applications for the vacant seat are due no later than 5 p.m. Dec. 31.
Applications are open for Fort Collins residents interested in serving on one of the City’s boards and commissions. Applications are open now through noon, Friday, Jan. 9.

Bald eagles from the north make Fort Collins their winter home. They spend nights in communal roosts in cottonwood trees near the reservoir. Volunteer Naturalists are stationed at the viewing pier and explain the eagles’ natural history and help visitors view them through spotting scopes and binoculars.
