On August 29, 2026, at 11:44 a.m. Fort Collins 911 received several calls regarding a truck that drove onto the sidewalk and struck multiple people in the 100 block of West Mountain Avenue. Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS) Patrol officers and many officers working a special event nearby immediately responded.

Mountain Vista to Close Between Giddings and Busch Aug. 17

Mountain Vista Drive will close to all traffic between Giddings Road and Busch Drive beginning Monday, Aug. 17, weather permitting, while the City of Fort Collins Streets Department repaves the roadway.
