2026 Recreation Passes and Fees FAQs

How were the new fees decided?

The new pass fees are all based on a formula that provides greater benefit to the community.

  • A one-month pass costs the same as five drop-in visits.
  • A six-month pass costs the same as five monthly passes.
  • An annual pass costs about the same as nine monthly passes.

Most passes are also rounded to the nearest $10 increment.

Why are there resident and non-resident prices?

Recreation is subsidized by City taxes so non-residents pay a 20% premium due to a lower expected tax revenue from those living outside the Fort Collins Growth Management Area.

Why is there an increase to the reduced fee pass?

Reduced Fee Passes now reflect 90% discounts on annual passes, which aligns with many of the program discounts this pass receives.

What additional perks come with the new passes?

Discounts on personal training packages, fitness classes and access to The Farm at Lee Martinez Park and City Park Pool is now included.

Why is the Senior Social Pass not being offered anymore?

After reviewing recreation pass participation reports, it was determined that the Senior Social Pass had very low participation and the benefits did not align with other recreation pass offerings.

Are The Farm and City Park Pool included in Renew Active and Silver Sneakers passes?

No, Renew Active and Silver Sneakers passes only include access to EPIC, Foothills Activity Center, the Fort Collins Senior Center, Mulberry Pool and Northside Aztlan Community Center.
