Fort Collins’ local take on National Night Out, this annual event is rooted in a simple idea: neighbors connecting with neighbors and strengthening the sense of community that makes Fort Collins thrive.
Community member host their own Neighborhood Night Out (NNO) events, typically in the early evening between about 5 and 8 p.m., allowing neighbors to connect after the workday in a family-friendly setting.
Neighbors across Fort Collins are invited to take part by hosting or joining a gathering in their neighborhood. Whether it’s a block party, potluck, ice cream social or simple get-together, every event helps bring people together and build stronger connections where you live.
This year’s event focuses on meaningful, neighborhood-level connections. Taking time to meet the people around you — and connect with your public safety professionals — helps build trust and familiarity long before it’s needed in an emergency. The relationships built through Neighborhood Night Out help create a safer, more resilient community!
