Fort Collins celebrates bicycling year-round, and Bike to Work Day is our biggest community ride. It’s a chance to swap your car trip for a bike ride, grab breakfast on the way and connect with others who share the road and trails. Whether you ride every day or once a year, it’s an easy, fun way to be part of the city’s active transportation culture.

Station Host Information

Station host sign-up opens Thursday, Nov. 12. Sign-up information will be posted here.

About Bike to Work Day

Held Feb. 12, this year's event will mark the the 20th annual Winter Bike to Work Day. Bike to Work Day events are intended to encourage new bicycling habits, reward existing cyclists and provide an opportunity for participants to make connections with local businesses that support bicycling.

During Bike to Work Day, local businesses host breakfast and/or snack stations located throughout the City, distributing free breakfast, coffee and other snack-type treats to people who arrive by bike. Some stations host games, trivia and general camaraderie, all of which are encouraged to help establish a unique identity to breakfast stations, especially among repeat station hosts.

FC Moves, a City of Fort Collins work group, coordinates the event, plans station locations and helps connect businesses with one another. Businesses provide food and staff or volunteers for a smooth, fun day of bicycling fun.
