Bike and Scooter Share

1. Download the Spin app on your smartphone.
2. Create an account and enter your payment information.
3. Use the map in the app to find an e-bike or e-scooter nearby.
4. Follow the instructions in the app to unlock, ride and park.
5. Having issues during your ride? Report the problem in the app. 

Spin Access

Spin Access offers discounted rides to riders who qualify based on income or participation in government programs like SNAP/EBT.

• Cost: $0.50 to unlock and $0.10 per minute
• No credit card? Use the app to find retailers for cash purchases of ride credits.
• No smartphone? Ask about text-to-unlock options.

• $1 to unlock
• $0.40 per minute

Discounts

• Colorado State University (CSU) campus discount: $0.30 per minute on the CSU campus (see map)
• Equity Zone Discount: First 30 minutes are free if your ride starts in a Free Zone (see map)
• Spin Access program: $0.50 to unlock and $0.10 per minute

Ride Passes

• 30-Minute Ride Pass: $8.99: Valid 24 hours, ride for up to 30 minutes, no unlock fee
• Monthly Pass: $5.99: One ride per day with free unlock and first 3 minutes free (valid 30 days)

Where to park:

• On the CSU campus or Downtown: Park next to a bike rack.
• Elsewhere: Park responsibly; don't block sidewalks or access points.

The City is making it easier and safer to park shared bikes and scooters by creating designated parking boxes marked with white paint and pylons. These parking boxes prioritize high-use areas, equity-focused zones and key bikeways.
