"For my 8th grade gifted and talented project at Boltz Middle School, I created an art show as a statement against AI art. Every day, I see heaps of AI slop, stealing from artists and spilling out a half baked pie with six fingers. I believe it is truly damaging to our society to be force-fed this junk that is actively draining our water. I wanted to show how much work it takes over a lifetime to build these skills and to learn and grow as an artist. My art isn’t perfect - as AI art claims to be - but it’s made with emotion, work, and it has soul behind it. Art is an outlet for me and everyone in my family and is not something to be outsourced.
Thank you so much,
Penny"
