Events must include a brief paragraph (80 words or less) describing the nature of the event. If including a contact (Event Host section below), use a department, program or otherwise general contact email. Event image should be 480x316 px.

The following should be updated before you publish your event page:

 

• Event summary
• Event dates
• Event categories (details about event categories included below)
• Event image – 480 x 316 px (3:2 proportions) and 96 dpi
• Admission fee for the event (or select the checkbox if the event is free)
• Event location
• Event host information
• Update or remove RSVP sidebar (in Supporting information under additional side panels)
• Update the event information in the WYSIWYG editor (e.g., additional event information) 
• Remove "Template" content label and add other needed content labels

Tips for using the Overview tab of the Event Page builder:

• Admission and Event Host sections will populate the Event Snapshot sidebar. 
• Edit (or remove) the RSVP Side Panel under Supporting Information to include RSVP link.
• Event Location section will populate the location and map information below any WYSIWYG content.
• NOTE: You can set multiple or recurring dates in the Add event dates section; however, to list multiple locations, you must use the OC Event Location function.
• Be sure that under the Settings Tab, 

 

Additional Content

For large events with lots of details, sub-sections or accordions can provide information about:

• Event schedule
• Vendor or Sponsor information and applications
• Parking or other logistics
