The splash pad and playground restrooms at Spring Canyon Community Park will be temporarily closed for renovation beginning March 2. This project is part of the City’s ongoing investment in safe, reliable and accessible park amenities through the Parks Infrastructure Replacement Program (IRP) and the 2050 tax initiative.

The 2050 Tax Initiative, approved by Fort Collins voters in 2023, allocates funds specifically to Parks, Recreation, Transit, and Climate. Funds invested through the Parks Department will support the replacement, upgrade, maintenance, and accessibility of park facilities.
The splash pad is closed to allow for safety upgrades and system improvements.
