Fort Collins Museum of Discovery

Opened in 2012, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery (FCMoD) is a science, history and culture museum focused on life-long learning and fun for all ages. Featuring hands-on and collections-based exhibits, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery tells the stories of Northern Colorado and beyond featuring global stories through a local lens.

Fort Collins Museum of Discovery (FCMoD) is a public-private partnership created from the merger of the City of Fort Collins Museum (established in 1941) and the nonprofit Discovery Science Center (1989).

FCMoD offers daily dome shows, after-hours music events, live animal encounters, powerful community programming and exclusive member engagements. With a packed monthly calendar and special exhibitions, FCMoD provides a world of Discovery for All.
