Our Crushing Operations program accepts construction and demolition materials — like concrete, asphalt and clean dirt — and recycles them into high-quality aggregate products. These recycled materials form the foundation for roads, sidewalks, driveways and other infrastructure throughout our community.
By reducing landfill waste and supporting local construction, our program helps lower project costs while conserving natural resources — building a more sustainable Fort Collins from the ground up.
Accepted Materials for Recycling
We accept the following materials for recycling:
- Dirt and rock mixtures
- Asphalt (broken or milled)
- Concrete (no rebar)
- Porcelain toilets (seats, metal/plastic parts removed)
Not accepted:
- Mixed loads

- Asphalt or concrete with excessive dirt
Rebates available:
