As a part of the program:

  • Neighborhoods choose leaders from their community.
  • Leaders help residents choose and organize quarterly activities for the neighborhoods based on three focus areas: Environmental Sustainability, Community Connection and Neighborhood Identity.
  • Earn badges and recognition for your efforts!
  • All neighborhoods track events and can see each other’s progress and activities, with bi-yearly meetings for leaders to share ideas
  • Neighborhoods receive $1,000 their first year and $500 the second year to support project expenses.
  • City staff support neighborhoods with a designated liaison, who will meet with your neighborhood quarterly

Joining the program will require a two-year commitment from participating neighborhoods and their residents.
