The City of Fort Collins will complete final construction work at the intersection of South College Avenue (U.S. Highway 287) and Trilby Road from Thursday, Sept. 17 to Friday, Oct. 2, including asphalt paving and traffic signal testing. Drivers traveling on College should expect lane closures and delays.

College will be reduced to single lanes (one lane in each direction) during the following times:

  • Thursday Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. until Sunday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. thru Sunday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Trilby’s access to College will change during this work period:

  • Trilby will be closed to traffic on the west side of the intersection from Monday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 27

During the week of Sept. 28 to Oct. 2, the City will be testing the new traffic signal equipment with a goal to opening the intersection to vehicle traffic by Oct. 2. After the intersection reopens, crews will install sidewalks and perform final project cleanup tasks during October.
