On February 3, 2026, at approximately 3:21 PM Fort Collins Police were notified of a serious motorcycle verse SUV collision at the intersection of South College Avenue and West Lake Street. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the motorcyclist, an adult male, had serious injuries from the crash. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver and occupants in the SUV were uninjured.

The Cadillac was driven by an adult male and had two juvenile occupants in the vehicle with him.
“Our investigators are working diligently to uncover the facts and provide clarity to the families impacted by today’s serious crash,” said Sergeant David Lindsay who oversees the Fort Collins Police CRASH Team.
The collision and exact circumstances that led up to it are still under investigation. Police are also investigating if alcohol was a factor in this collision.
