Re: Lemay Avenue Water System Improvement Project Kicks off.  Partial Closure on Lemay Avenue Between Horsetooth and Harmony, Beginning March 16.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Fort Collins Utilities’ Lemay Avenue Water System Improvement Project will start construction March 16.
The project extends along Lemay Avenue from Horsetooth Road to Harmony Road. Waterline construction will begin at the intersection of Ticonderoga Drive and Lemay Avenue and progress to the south. Southbound Lemay will be closed around the active work zones.

Crews will be conducting work between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The project has an anticipated completion date of late June, weather permitting.

The project will replace an existing 20-inch water transmission main installed in the early 1970’s. Replacement of the ageing water mains will enhance system reliability and protect water quality.
