FORT COLLINS – City of Fort Collins Parking Services announced today that it will offer free parking in all City parking garages on Saturdays and City holidays this holiday season, providing a convenient and affordable way to visit Downtown shops, restaurants and events. Free Saturday parking begins Saturday, Nov. 29 and continues through Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026. Parking is always free on Sundays and designated City holidays.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to support local businesses while enjoying the festive downtown atmosphere,” Parking Services Senior Manager Eric Keselburg said. “We hope this makes it easier for everyone to come downtown and celebrate the season.”

Free Saturday parking will be available at all three City parking garages:

  • Firehouse Alley Parking Garage
  • Old Town Parking Garage
  • Civic Center Parking Garage

City holidays with free parking include:

  • Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, Nov. 28
  • Day After Thanksgiving: Friday, Nov. 29
  • Christmas Day: Thursday, Dec. 25
  • New Year’s Day: Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026

On other days, the first hour of parking is always free, and each additional hour is $1. Drivers must initiate a parking session regardless of the duration of their stay.
