Josh Fudge

Biography

After living with his family in Fort Collins and the Observatory Village neighborhood in District 3 for more than 10 years, Josh Fudge was elected to City Council in 2025. Josh and his wife, Jen, have two children who attended Zach Elementary, Kinard Middle, and Fossil Ridge High School. Josh earned undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received a Masters of Public Administration from George Mason University in 2004, while working with trade associations in Washington DC.

Josh is the current director of Performance Budget and Strategy for Larimer County. He has worked for local governments for 20 years. Prior to Larimer County, he was a budget analyst for both Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties in Wisconsin, becoming the Budget Director at the latter in 2013. In addition to helping the County develop its annual budget and forecasts, Josh’s role has expanded to include process improvement, performance measurement, business intelligence, data improvement and strategic planning.

Outside of work, Josh is an active parent volunteer with the Fossil Ridge High School Marching Band, and enjoys hiking, reading, traveling and other volunteer opportunities.

Councilmembers are elected by district and may serve up to two consecutive four-year terms.
