Youth Advisory Board

Gathers information from local youth, other groups, organizations and agencies regarding youth-oriented issues and makes recommendations to City Council in reference to these issues.

Meeting Schedule and Information

First Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.

Meeting Location: Varies between Northside Aztlan Community Center and Foothills Activity Center.
(Please confirm meeting location and attendance options based on the posted agenda.)

This Board does not meet during the Summer months.

This Board is allowed to hold meetings remotely via Zoom.

Duties

The Youth Advisory Board gathers information from local youth, other groups, organizations and agencies regarding youth-oriented issues and makes recommendations to City Council in reference to these issues.

The Board operates under the school-year calendar. Members serve through May of their Senior Year.  

Recommended Qualifications

The ability to commit to meeting every month.

An interest in advising on new ideas and guiding the culture and direction of youth in Fort Collins.

Time Commitment

2-4 hours per month
