Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission makes recommendations to City Council regarding zoning, annexations, major public and private projects and any long range planning activities (such as City Plan or subarea plans) that require Council approval.
The Commission is also the final decision making authority regarding land use proposals including overall development plans, project development plans and any planned unit developments that remain from the City's previous land use regulations.
The Commission coordinates with the Poudre and Thompson school districts and the Larimer County Planning Commission.
Meeting Schedule and Information
Third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m.

Meeting Locations:
- Work Sessions: Conference Room A, 281 N. College Ave., Conference Room A
- Hearings: 300 Laporte Ave., Council Chambers

Sharing Documents:
- If residents wish to share a document or presentation, City Staff must receive those materials via email at least 24 hours before the meeting. Staff will ensure the Commission receives items sent.
- Items not received at least 24 hours before the meeting will not be included in the agenda.

Emailing Public Comments:
- Items not received at least 24 hours before the meeting will not be included in the agenda to devreviewcomments@fortcollins.gov. Staff will ensure the Commission receives your comments.
- Comments not received at least 24 hours before the meeting will not be included in meeting agenda or Commission discussions.
- If you have specific comments on any of the discussion items scheduled, please make that clear in the subject line of the email.

Recommended Qualifications
Some knowledge of Land Use Code is helpful.
