Exhibit Dates: May 20–24

Reception: May 20 | 5–7:30 p.m.

"The modern English word “work,” is derived from the old English “weorc” (wye-ork), which refers to physical labor. In this space, our art explores a version of “weorc” through the lens of queer reverence. Through constructing new perspectives beyond restrictive binaries, our exhibition demands language not yet described. Woerc encapsulates the pleasure and suffering of labor: Woerc is witty, Woerc is honest, Woerc is spiritual, Woerc is caring, Woerc is attention to craft, to physicality, to the physical force of making. This Woerc is the product of discoveries made in queer company. In our company, relinquish fixed perceptions to allow for a greater understanding of radical care."

The event is open to the public and free to attend.

This exhibition is presented and produced by the listed artist(s)—not the C4C or the City of Fort Collins.
