Program Description: Explore the unique features of nature in winter along with ways to record your experience using art materials, poetry, or prose. Discover the art materials and techniques easiest to use when out in nature. Participants will be guided through activities to develop skills of awareness of the forms and adaptations of nature in winter. Each will choose what and how they would like to record their observations in a nature journal format, including art, prose, and/or poetry. Opportunities and guidance will be provided to explore art materials, narrative forms.

Accessibility: Program takes place outside and along an ADA accessible trail. Accessible bathrooms and parking available. Hike of up to 0.5 mile, easy.
