"Where the Garden Rots" explores the entanglement of memory and identity. The body holds onto moments just as a landscape can become suspended in time. Both reveal fragmented visions of reality and selfhood—dreamy, dark, and at times visceral. How do we cling to memory, and how do these moments shape us, blurring the boundary between what is real and what is dreamt?
Cassidy Schaub and Sophia Galier are both BFA candidates concentrating in Painting, and have been developing their practices and bodies of work over the past four years at CSU.
Exhibition Dates: Dec. 10–14 | 12–6 p.m.
