Open Streets 2026

Next date: Sunday, October 18, 2026 | 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM

Open Streets offers one to two miles of car-free streets for people of all ages to enjoy.

This year's event will be held on Laurel Street between Mason Street and Shields Street.

Walk, bike, roll or scooter along the route and explore activities along the way, including:

• Activities hosted by local businesses and organizations (vendor signups begin July 18, 2026)
• Live music
• Food trucks
• Wellness activities
• Hands-on art.

Activities are spread out to encourage you to explore the full route.

Open Streets:

• Shows how streets can be redesigned to better support walking, biking and rolling
• Encourages people to choose active ways to travel, even after the event
• Highlights local businesses and organizations that support health and community well-being
• Helps neighbors connect with each other and build a stronger community
