River Birds of Gateway

Bank of the Poudre River flowing peacefully through Gateway Natural Area dotted by fall colored trees.

Learn about the birds that make their living from the Poudre and its North Fork. We'll share photos and videos of dippers, kingfishers, osprey, and other birds, and discuss the ways these birds are adapted to obtaining food from the river. Following the program, we'll walk along the North Fork looking for birds and other wildlife.
