The Housing & Community Vitality Department (HCV) strategically combines expertise in affordable housing, human services, neighborhood capacity development and community support to foster safe, resilient and connected communities where all residents have stable housing and access to services supporting their basic needs.

The City runs funding processes to help with prioritized human services, housing and homelessness needs. The Human Services and Housing Funding Board provides oversight and guidance.
