Engineering

The Engineering Department designs and manages public infrastructure that keeps Fort Collins moving. We:

• Plan and build safe, reliable transportation projects like streets, bike lanes and sidewalks
• Manage the public right-of-way, including permits for construction and utility work in streets and sidewalks
• Review development projects to make sure they connect safely to city infrastructure
• Partner with the community to improve mobility, safety and access for everyone
