A 950-square foot portion of the yard at 300 N. Loomis would be used for growing vegetables. No manure will be produced or used on-site. Fertilizers and pest control are proposed to be organic or manual. No tractors or heavy equipment are proposed to be used on the site. Only non-mechanized equipment (broadfork, hand trowels, garden rakes, etc.) is proposed. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) customers would meet at this location weekly to pick up their vegetable share. This site is in the Old Town Medium Density (OT-B) zone district. This proposal will be approved or denied by the Director of Planning and Development Services or their designee.
