Natural Surface Trails

Fort Collins has over 114 miles of unpaved trail for activities such as walking, running, biking, or equestrian use, depending on location.

Many trails are open year-round; however, caution is advised as natural conditions and uneven terrain exist. Rangers monitor conditions at closed trails daily, and reopen trails as soon as conditions allow. Please obey all trail detours, and do not enter closed trails.

View more information on trail statuses by visiting COTREX or viewing parking lot cameras. Report trail maintenance issues to the Natural Areas Department at 970-416-2815 or naturalareas@fortcollins.gov.
